From the Host “Dear Dennis, Just a note to thank you and Miri for helping us out last Saturday. Your truck, your food and your service was universally acclaimed by all of the partygoers, without exaggeration. You have a great franchise, with a lovely ambience and high quality food. We cannot thank you enough and look forward to having you look after us again.” (Martin L. – Ide Hill)

The setting in the corner of the garden. This photo was taken as we were setting up prior to guest arrivals. Part of the moat is on the left hand side.
The venue for this long planned and long awaited party was the 7 acre grounds of a beautiful country home. The house is one of the few privately owned fully moated houses in the country. In another part of the manicured grounds a marquee with bar and DJ were set up. The Deli Truck had a beautiful position beside the water edge. We set out our tables and chairs and opened for business with a great selection of food – including our Adult Ice Cream Menu for dessert.

The menu as it was posted on the truck and placed on tables around the venue. The Salad was picked just 3 hours before the party began from our own salad beds on the Deli Truck Head quarters farm. Click her to see. You can also see how we made the peperonata by clicking here
We also had a separate Ice Cream Menu – this was a first for us and went down an absolute storm. Of course by loosing the booze element this is also a great Ice Cream Menu for a children’s party.

Our Ice Cream Menu – The Morello Cherry Ice cream was particularly special – Click here

Part of the Buffet Table – We served the Salmon en Croute with two home made sauces – A robust Pesto sauce and a cooling yoghurt, dill, garlic and lemon zest. You can see the Salmon being made by clicking here. The hot items like the pulled pork sandwich were served directly from the truck.
