The beautiful house and grounds of our hosts in Kent. A perfect magical venue for a very special occasion.

Our hosts were celebrating a major event in their lives. A joint 50th birthday celebration in their stunning garden in Kent. They asked us to create an American inspired Menu for their 110 guests and their planning and attention to detail made for a perfect event. They brought in a vintage car on the red carpet to set the scene and the guests were asked to dress for the era – and many of the outfits were both stunning and elegant.

The menu we designed was a mixture of some of our old and much loved favourites and some brand new dishes. Our hosts had a desire for an American baked cheesecake with morello cherry topping. We test baked a number of these cakes over a two week period until we found the perfect one. This cheesecake went down a storm. The rest of the menu including our 8 hour smoked pulled pork, our home ground beef burger a very special vegetarian burger that we invented – it was so good we had a number of meat lovers wanting one. Our famous salads and of course our desserts.

Our hosts were without a doubt a couple with great style. They were attentive, generous and fun. Working with respectful and considerate clients always makes our job so much easier and of course in the long run means a greater collaboration between caterer and host and therefore a better evening all round.

A fabulous night was had by all – and we decided we would stay until the early hours as the party was so much fun and there were guests that still needed feeding after some fairly hectic dancing and party going. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for such a great evening.
